Graphical Computer Programs have featured WYSIWYG “what you see is what you get” editing for over thirty years. This was in contrast with earlier systems where the input format differed from the output format. In our current world, we take for granted that what we see on the screen looks like the final product, whether it be destined for a web page, print, or presentations.

I’m still waiting on WYWIWYG editing. “What You Want Is What You Get”. What I want is always way cooler than what I see.
