Despite feeling completely inundated with digital stimulus and completely dependent on a digitally connected world, I think it’s clear that we’re still an organic species. Humanity itself still hasn’t been digitized.

All of our most important moments are still organic. Love and sex. Death and mourning. The freedom of the wind in your hair or the power of the ocean. The ring of a cell phone not only hasn’t replaced these things, but still seems “out of place” during any of those moments.

Maybe (hopefully?) we’ll never fully make the transition to total indoctrination by technology.
