Open government data is a precursor to groundswell change, I have no doubt. I give huge credit to the Obama administration for their early starts on data.gov.

But where are the groups digesting this data to pump it back into policy? I’ve already argued that data itself isn’t enough. We all know there’s no shortage of problems to solve. Now that the knowledge is there for the taking, let’s step up and start bringing solutions to the table.
