The number of times we hear “should” in a week should be a big warning sign.

  • I should start a diet.
  • I should get more sleep.
  • I should write a book.
  • I should travel the world.
  • I should have dinner with him sometime soon.

As soon as “should” enters the picture, you’ve immediately left yourself a lovely opening to “not”. Life is not about what you should do, it’s about what you do do.

Don’t “should” all over yourself, it’s embarrassing.
