As computers get “smarter”, it seems the whole world is feeling less and less genuine.

For example, every year on my birthday for at least the last 5 years, more computers have sent me emails wishing me a happy one than have people. It’s not that I want more human interaction, but for things that are distinctly human, I could use less computer interaction.
