An entry for the selective desaturation challenge at DPChallenge , this shot taken in Cambridge’s Kendall Square. This shot feels so different from what we usually see when walking past these non-descript office buildings. A stop-and-smell-the-roses sort of moment. This photo went through a few revisions. Ultimately, I like this one with the bricks destaurating as the ground recedes back towards the building. It causes the eye to stay towards the front of the frame, and draws attention to the trees. It also keeps the color at a reasonable level to not distract from the nice B&W details of the buildings.
